HSBC Bank International wins
     ‘Best International Bank Group’ award

For the second year running HSBC Bank International has been named Best International Bank Group at the prestigious International Investment Fund and Product Awards 2008. The award was presented in recognition of the leading position of HSBC’s offshore products and services.

In winning Best International Bank Group, HSBC Bank International’s outstanding service and a number of customer focused initiatives over the past year were highlighted. This includes innovative services such as Global View which offer customers the option to access all their HSBC accounts worldwide with one single login.

The judges said that: "It is commendable that a bank as big as HSBC Bank International can display such a commitment to its target markets. HSBC Bank International has an impressive armoury of products and accounts that are truly international in focus. However, they have resisted the temptation to launch a large number of products, instead focusing closely on client needs and launching products accordingly, such as its new Premier Service ".

Now in their ninth year, the International Investment Fund and Product Awards are the most established and best known awards in the international financial sector. The award which was presented this year at London’s Victoria Park Plaza  Hotel on 13 May is voted for by a panel of expert judges, including specialist financial journalists and financial service experts.
