What is AssetMaster?
AssetMaster is a nominee service. Your assets are held on your behalf by HSBC Bank Nominee (Jersey) Limited, a nominee company wholly owned by HSBC Bank International which is a member of the HSBC Group.
You remain the beneficial owner of the assets, as the Nominee Company holds them on your behalf. AssetMaster relieves you of much of the paperwork and administration associated with buying or selling investments recommended by our Independent Wealth Management Service.
The Investments held within AssetMaster include:
- Collective investment schemes
- Investment-linked insurance
- Structured products (for example, funds that offer protection of capital)
*AssetMaster is an administration service and not an Asset Management service.
Not all holdings are covered by the service, for example, stockmarket traded shares/funds, bank deposits and some collective investment schemes are excluded. Applications to transfer current or future holdings into the service will be evaluated on an individual basis.
